Over the past few months a couple trends have become popular among the SCBP community. One's playing for souls and the other is Jager Bombs at the SCBP Training Facility. It's been reported, The Reaper aka Mike Wan, has owned just about everyone's soul at one point or another. But last Friday at Peter's birthday party it appeared The Reaper was playing for soul's against the only other entity owning equal if not more souls than him, the Jager Machine. I left at 3:00 am and the Jager Machine appeared to me winning. Anyone know the final outcome?

I came across this beer pong shot video and laughed a few times out loud. It's a bit different than the typical beer pong trick shot videos as the creators add more creativity and humor to their shots. Enjoy!

The SCBP Open will take place on Labor Day weekend, 2009, in Fullerton, CA. With a grand prize of $10,000, this will be the biggest beer pong tournament California has ever seen. If you’re a  member of the beer pong social network, pongleague.net, you may have recently received  8-10 annoying emails from mail@pongleague.net. I counted 8 in only two days before moving it to my SPAM folder. Here is what they read:

“Hi jway

Upcoming events between 11:04:09 To 18:04:09, To view the details of this event, please click here:”

Email can be a great tool to inform users or members of upcoming events and announcements but 8 in two days is a bit much. Especially when the email reads the exact same thing.

I feel like I may have been one of the only spectators to witness this candid moment. It was day 3. Wet Bandits were playing one of their last games of the day side by side to 2nd place finisher Getcha Popcorn Ready. Popular beer pong athlete Peter, also Co-founder of SoCal Beer Pong, was getting frustrated by Getcha Popcorn Ready, who's ball continued to bounce onto his table. Peter, near his wits end, took the out of bounds ball and hurled it near 65 mph directly into the face of unsuspected GPR. Direct hit, right in the eye! Haha! It was pretty funny. Peter reacted quite stunned and played it off like a complete accident. The discombobulated victim shrugged it off and held his now red eye as he continued his game.

Peter, the marksmen, clearly intentionally injured a major opponent, perhaps at the behest of a superior. One might only wonder what the outcome of the WSOBP IV would have been had Peter not been compromised by most likely, Smashing Time.

Peter, whether it was intentional or not I do believe the general BPong public will forgive you for your actions. But you must address this situation. I believe a press release is owed and deserved by the victims. Until then we can only wait and speculate.

The National Beirut League has solicited popular youtube beer pong trickster, Mark Berry of imarkberry.com, to promote their website. Berry recreated a similar video to his popular youtube hit, Extreme Beer Pong. The only difference, he's sporting a brand new NBL shirt and playing on a NBL beer pong table all while dropping lines for NBL.
 

I don't know about you guys but I've never been too impressed by someone sitting in front of a camera for hours trying to bounce a ball off of furniture into a half filled dixie cup. Billy's Balls 2 would have to be the only exception and that's because his shots were the most creative, awesome soundtrack, zero celebration and of course he 360 flipped a ping pong ball into a cup TWICE! But if NBL's newly sponsored video is anything like Berry's Extreme Beer Pong video they should receive over 800,000 views, which is pretty good for a few shirts and a table.

The best beer pong trick sponsored video or at least the most impressive to me would have to be, Eric Welch of Shred the Gnar, 1 Guy 6 Cups for AdamsBalls.com. Check it out.
